Ever since I can remember, I have loved pictures. When my parents used to take pictures with their Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera, I was fascinated by the way the image appeared right before my eyes! Then they would fold it up and put it away. I was rarely allowed to touch such a technological marvel.
When I was stationed in Okinawa the first purchase I made was a Pentax K1000 - my first SLR. I have been off to the races ever since. I couldn't get enough. I had to learn every step from loading the camera to making the print. Watching the black and white pictures come to life in the darkroom made me feel like a kid again. Every roll of film was like Christmas!
While I love the technical abilities the new equipment offers, I believe that whistles and bells don't make a good photographer. I continue to strive to compose that great shot just as if I weren’t going to see it until the slides come back. I still love finding THAT photo in the group that makes it all worthwhile.
Always willing to TFP/CD if you have a cool idea for a shoot. I have been very busy lately so if you email me please be patient. I will get back to you.

Better Photos Always coming! Otherwise what's the point?
