Andy Durazo

Hi, my name is Andy. I started taking photos way back in high school. I loved photography and studied it in earnest in college. I later got into camera sales, substitute photo teacher and, now I run the labs (digital and film) for a local community college. I stopped shooting models years ago and some of my students after looking at my old portfolio encouraged me to start shooting again. So this is why I'm here. Trying to get back in the swing of shooting and out of the darkroom (yes I still love film). I've found that I'm a bit rusty so my current work is not quite where I want it to be yet so I need to get working. I tend to be more of a portrait photographer than "high fashion" as my training is more vocational than fine art but, as I'm coming back to a whole new world I'm willing to try most things.

I'm also into shooting sports and just got started in movie productions stills. I've only had a couple of movie jobs but they were a blast to work on.

Please leave comments I want to improve so all help is appreciated. Oh, and also feel free to tell me what is right in my work not just what needs improvement.
