Fashion Models? Unique characteristics? Scars? Beautiful senior citizens? Interesting body features? Contortionists?

We are looking for models of all shapes and sizes who are comfortable with their bodies and are interested in experimental performance. If you have professional experience as a fashion model, a unique talent, a background in acting/singing or an interesting physical feature, we are especially interested in working with you. No professional modeling experience is required.

Note for fashion models: Last year's models were dressed in collections from the Jean Paul Gaultier Showroom. We are currently in the process of solidifying our amazing fashion sponsor for the productions this Fall. TBA.

Last year, having already created a name for herself as one of the nation’s most fascinating emerging photographers with her stirring images capturing the stark dichotomies of the human experience, Sarah Small launched the first Tableau Vivant, inspired by her photography series The Delirium Constructions which proved to be quite a success. The event promises to create a big stir with nearly 120 models, a guest list of over 700 and performances by Shara Worden (of My Brightest Diamond, The Decemberists and Sufjan Stevens).

To be considered as a model in the Tableau Vivant, first SEND PICTURES (face and full body) and brief email expressing your interest casting@livingpictureprojects.com . All interested models will be required to commit to 3 full days of work: one weekend day in September, the dress rehearsal on October 9 and the main event October 16.

As we are a non-profit endeavor, your compensation will be in the form of media exposure in major publications, access to a copy of the film documentary about the project, lifelong connections and creative inspiration in an exuberant and fun atmosphere.

Models will receive a limited edition print of the main tableau.
