自我介绍
Having worked in Hollywood post production for the last 20 years, I do this as a break from that, but I enjoy doing my own post production and using some of the techniques I have learned over the years in photography applications.
If you're interested in working on some fun images, please let me know!
That said, I am here to make great images. I want to meet interesting creative people to make cool art with. That is all. The most I could hope for is to develop a great professional working relationship. No shenanigans.
I'm currently looking for models and MUA's that want to collaborate to make some great images. I am the type of photographer that comes to the table with concepts and confidence, but often the best images evolve from the unique mesh of everyone's ideas.
My current projects for which I am looking for eager collaborators:
--High key figure studies - especially with distinct color accents - hair color, clothing items, paint/latex, etc.
--Classic pinup, retro-risque.
--Hollywood glamour.
--Edgy environmental - from the backyard to Joshua Tree, Salton Sea, etc. Lighting and all.
I consider post processing as much of the the image process as the shutter click. I'm always interested in creative compositing and processing and capturing images intended specifically for that.

I'm beginning a new personal project and am looking for models, MUA's, Hair and wardrobe collaborators for this project. Pin-up is big and there are a lot of people doing it. Nonetheless, it's a blast and I'm beginning a specific project in that vein.
As a point of inspiration, I have been studying the classic pinups found on WWII aircraft. As a tribute to the heroes of that generation, the men and women that served away and at home, this project revolves around the re-creation of those classic paintings in real life. I realize that there are a lot of pinup styles out there, and I love them all, but for this particular project I am looking for classic models preferably with little or no body art (or at least that can be disguised/covered with makeup or Pshop) as well as MUA's and stylists to help with this goal.
Some reference images that are inspiration for this idea:
If you are interested in collaborating on something like this, please let me know.

I suppose I should add - not that it really matters, but so there's no surprise - I shoot from a wheelchair.

"And if a day goes by without my doing something related to photography, it's as though I've neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up. I know that the accident of my being a photographer has made my life possible." - Richard Avedon - 1970

Steven, My compliments to you and your work. I have worked with Dane on a few occasions and we're planning to do a lot more together. However, I really appreciate the quality of work you have produced with her. I'm an admirer. Well done!
