Avlis Leumas

The third in a long generation of artists, Avlis fell in love with drawing around age 5 and continued through high school: collecting boxes of comic books and studying their work. In 2012 he picked up his wife’s old pens from fashion school and began drawing again – – rediscovering what once was lost and exploring potential through a variety of mediums.
Avlis creates original artwork from his home in beautiful Bend, Oregon; he has commissioned pieces for individuals and families as well as murals and pillars for The Bend Visitor’s Center; he has also designed labels for major companies including Deschutes Brewery and Oregon Spirit Distillers. His print making process is sourced locally from photograph to frame.
