I'm a mother of two, a wife of one, and an amateur photographer. I work mainly with nature, but I want to start working with human subjects in nature. I particularly enjoy the contrasts between soft human skin and harsh rock, but also the contrast between a clean and smooth body and the natural dirt in the woods. I suppose contrasts are really what fascinate me – water and rock, the asymmetry of the woods contrasted with the symmetry of leaves. In human subjects, I enjoy photographing all ages and sexes, but prefer nude photography over regular ‘portrait’ photography, because it is easier to capture the ‘essence’ of a person when there is no shield of clothes.
