自我介绍
Trying to turn from an Amateur Photographer to a semi-pro. Learning the craft as I go! I am interested in meeting all types and genders. Trying to build a portfolio so not looking for compensation at this time in the slightest.
I am trying to develop as a photographer, and so is my wife. I have a lot of good professional photographer friends, who are helping me with advice and education.
My wife and I own a local B&B and often have photographers use it as a backdrop for weddings, boudoir, and family shoots. We have sometimes done the photography for smaller weddings with couples on a budget (normally elopements). We have had at least a half dozen photographers use our Inn for Boudoir shoots. So we figure that with our passion for photography we should have a go at all the different genres ourselves!
If you are open to helping out a newbie photographer please feel free to message me. Really looking to develop a Boudoir portfolio, as it fits with our B&B and does not require us to travel at all. Also open to trying head-shots as again that does not require travel and we have all the equipment we need to try those. Hit me up! You have nothing to loose!
Some ideas for around my area;
- Outdoor "nature" shoots, Nisqually, Tumwater Falls, the Nature reserve at the end of Capital Lake, Burfoot Park, Mima Mounds. I have seen a lot of senior portraits being done in these areas.
- "Architecture" shoots, the Capital Campus, Downtown Olympia. I love Olympia, so think I know lots of great spots.
- Use our B&B as a backdrop! It is Victorian, without being too "dollie" like.
- "Boudoir", a four poster bed, porch swing. Our B&B is the perfect backdrop for this!
