Maya is a host, model, and talent agent from Manila, Philippines. She stands 5'7 and measures 36 C-27-36.
She is a graduate of AB Communication from the Ateneo de Manila University. She also holds a Print and Broadcast Journalism Certification from the University of California in Los Angeles.
After she finished her post-graduate education in the United States, Maya returned to the Philippines and began her career in entertainment.
She best established herself as a host in television broadcasts of Philippine basketball tournaments such as the NBC, NBL, Collegiate Champions' League, NCRAA, among others.
Maya has even done some color commentary for the UCLAA games. This is something that very few women have been chosen to do, not only in the Philippines but around the globe.
She also worked in the Net 25 channel, hosting a show entitled "The Planet". Maya was also given solo producing and hosting duties in the network's special television coverage of the Castrol Autocross Invitational.
Because of her television exposure, Maya also became a sought-after emcee and presenter. Her services were acquired by various clients for mall shows, awarding ceremonies, trade fairs, and other events. She was also a voice over talent for a rock concert sponsored by Ambergris.
Maya also dabbled in modeling. Her biggest campaign was as the star of a national print advertisement for Sun Cellular. She was also a featured model for Pump Magazine.
Becoming an identified figure in basketball circles, Maya graced the cover of "Kaunlaran" magazine along with players of San Miguel Beer, Ginebra San Miguel, and Purefoods. She was also selected as the muse for Anchor Family Spread.

In 2009, Maya entered into talent management, putting up the Avatar Talent Management agency. In a span of two years she has imported seven foreign models from Brazil and the Ukraine into the Philippines.
She also negotiates with clients for projects utilizing the services of freelance models and other entertainers.Her roster of talents also include all-star basketball players from the collegiate and amateur leagues, Filipino-American discoveries, and imports from as far away as Serbia and the United States.
Maya is currently based in Parañaque City.
