Hakim Taliaferro

I have had an interest in the modeling/acting industry for a while but never pursued because I always thought that success was unattainable unless you had the right people and desire. I still feel like you do need the right connection to go far in this industry just as you would need for a regular job position. I believe that I have a unique look that I maintain with the way I carry myself. People sometimes view me as being conceited from the outward because of the way I carry myself as well as how I look; but when people get to know me they soon learn that I am very down to earth and considerate of others.

I currently work for HTC and have been blessed to be able work on my own schedule. I have came a long way from working at a park as a Park Attendant to becoming a Field Marketing Representative for Northern New Jersey. I have had some rough tumbles along the way and feel that those experiences have helped to shape my life. I remember asking my friend for a quarter to go grab some cakes to eat from being able to provide groceries for my own apartment. I believe that everything happens for a reason and therefore follow an honest lifestyle by being there for others and trying my best to learn from mistakes. I am not perfect but I can say that I strive for it in everything I do with out becoming obsessed. I have not always been a humble person but I have been receptive to what others have said in past to become the best person I can be. My parents have both passed away so I look at every opportunity I am presented as the chance to break free and express my creativity:and yes I do have a lot of that! (Ask about me :-P)

I value family and loyalty and really hope that people can understand that being real and honest is always the best strategy of one's self improvement. I also value the essence of chivalry and think that women should be treated with honor,integrity,loyalty,respect and need to experience positivity at some point in there life. I look at today's world and see a lot of room for improvement, I may not leave a huge stamp but I can make sure that the people I am surrounded by are following certain ethics to make this world a better place. I don't believe that success is easily attained by anyone but I do believe that you work hard for a certain time you will make it easier for yourself later. I have a great sense of humor that makes my presence desirable and missed when I'm not around. I love to joke around as well as exercise professionalism when it is needed. I really look forward to any opportunities that await me.
