Fashion Revolution Day is a global event meant to raise awareness about social abuse in the fashion industry and increase transparency in the fashion supply chain. Over 40 countries will take part in this year's Fashion Revolution Day on Arpil 24th, with Singapore being one of them. You can learn more about the initiative at http://www.fashionrevolution.org/

Etrican is part of the SIngapore board of Fashion Revolution and we are organising a photoshoot leading up to the event to use as an opportunity to raise awareness about the issues. This is an open casting call as anyone is welcome to get involved, male or female, any ethinicity, models, photographers, stylists, MUA, etc.

Concept: Photos would feature models turning their clothing inside out. The idea is to make the audience think of how their clothes were made and by whom. To get an idea of the concept please see the posters on the resources page on Fashion Revolution website (http://www.fashionrevolution.org/resources) and watch the end of Michael Jackson's Black or White video : )

Compensation: This is a non profit initiative and everyone involved is a volunteer. You are welcome to keep the photos and use them in your portfolio. Also, photos would be posted on Social Media channels of Fashion Revolution Singapore (and maybe global if the result is good enough) on the event day itself (currently scheduled for April 26th at *Scape) and in all contact with the media interested in covering this event (we've had tentative interest so far from Juice, I-S Magazine, Honeycombers, City Nomads and a few bloggers.

Tentative Shoot Date: Weekend of the 29th of March. If too short notice for most people, then weekend of the 5th April, latest. This is likely to be a whole day event so please block it in your schedule.
