Hi! Im Brian Sanborn, sometimes photographer and full time commercial pilot. Would you like to be a contributor to our calendar project? We have just enough time left this year for a collaborative calendar project for 2012 that showcases the most extraordinary Asian glamour photography.

Would you recall your entire portfolio taken throughout your photography career, and select the ONE most memorable image of a bikini or lingerie model, and submit it to us for inclusion in the calendar? We will select 14 photographers single images to be featured, including your business logo and contact information. Along with your single best choice, please write a description of the image so that fellow photographers can gaze upon your work and gain a clear idea of how it was produced. If you are unsure of some answers, a best guess is fine as it is as accurate as possible.


Name of Photographer
Education/schools/diplomas related to photography
Business name, city, phone and web page address
Upload your logo, if any
Name of model (and her web page if you think she would still want that)
Location of photo shoot (beach, resort, mountain, rice paddy, waterfall, cave, studio)
If outdoors, time of day and weather (or sun low on horizon, no clouds etc)
Camera used
Settings on camera (aperture/shutter speed, flash synch mode)
Equipment used (lens filters, lighting setup, fan, reflectors, and blue screen etc)
This is important: A personal thought, tip or authentically friendly paragraph that highlights the experiences on that particular photo shoot.


Am unsure if this calendar will sell, but am willing to take that chance with an investment in production, printing and marketing costs to find out. I have some ideas how to market it, and if it does not sell I will have at least made my mistakes and found out what works, and you the photographer can have another credit in a remarkable printed product.

The title of the calendar is Next Top Photographer. Why not? The models get all the exposure; lets all collaborate and develop a calendar project that showcases our absolute best, most inspired and memorable images, and each of us can gain recognition for our talents.

If your image and written description is selected for the calendar I will send a rights release form. We will make our selections by May 15 2011.

I realize you are a photo professional and are interested in making an income through photography and being a fellow photographer I respect that. Please nominate a reasonable cost you would like to charge for use of your single image for this calendar. I can pay via Paypal and bank transfer.

P.P.S. Dudes! This isn't just about technical brilliance! I already received some images and have to mention that the models should fill-out the bikini very well. A "B" cup is minimum, "C" is better. Lets keep in mind that its mostly us guys that will buy this thing, and we know what we like!
