My name is Andrew Gates. I've been shooting for over 17 years. I live in Los Angeles, CA and mainly shoot lingerie and swimwear. I'm looking to expand my model network and grow with my photography. I'm looking forward to working with new, fun and interesting people.


I am the Founder & CEO of RUKUS MAGAZINE. RUKUS in an online and print magazine for men. I created and launched RUKUS on January 1, 2009, since then it has become quite popular, you can see it at: http://www.RUKUSmag.com. I'm always looking for models to shoot with for features and possible covers. Shoots are swimwear and lingerie. Girls receive tearsheets once pics are put online. Shoots take place in and around Los Angeles, CA. Experienced Models Preferred, but I'm also looking for fresh faces that have a specific look. Send submissions to Model@RUKUSmag.com, please include your most recent work (Minimum: 1 Headshot, 1 3/4 Shot and 1 Full Length). All images should be either bikini and/or lingerie, no smaller than 5x7 at 72ppi and no larger than 8X10 at 72ppi. All images must be UNEDITED, edited images will not be accepted. Please include your phone number, measurements, hometown and social networking links (ex. Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Once a submission has been made we will look them over carefully to determine who we feel is a good match with the magazine. After we have made our decision we will be in touch via email/phone to notify the girls who have been selected and to go over shoot details and dates.

FYI: I really love what I do and I don't have time for flaky models. There is nothing worse than having everything set up (Hair, MUA, location, etc.) and then the model is a no-show or last-minute cancel. I have a list of models who will never get a booking from me for this very reason. If we book a shoot and something happens I would appreciate a call, email or something to let me know you're not going to make it or we need to re-schedule (the odds are I will accept your excuse and wish you the best in your future, but never schedule you for another shoot). I just don't have time for models that don't take their career seriously. Please respect my time as I will respect yours. Thank you.
