Max Gold

I am a sculptor/artist/photographer who has recently re-located to the Hill Country around Austin where I love the music, food and cultural assets of the region. I have retired from my long-time business activities and am devoting more attention to developing my artistic side which had to take a backseat during the "gotta work" years.

Most of my past work has been influenced by the deserts of northern Mexico, indigenous legends and lore, and the rock art pictographs left by ancient cultures on cave walls. I have also done many private commissions in bronze.

My sculptural and photographic interests are moving me back towards more figurative work, thus my interest in what modeling resources are available in my area.
