I always try to achieve a new look, with a new style, because that is what catches people's interest. It is always possible to achieve this with technology, but because everybody is doing this it is no longer original. The goal is to do as much as you can with the lens of the camera, with the model at the time of shooting. Cliched looks and angles and settings and backdrops and lighting mean that the result is a cliche too. Instead, I like to try new things and new approaches, without gimmicks, and if it is done right then the result can be outstanding and memorable, and everbody including the client and the model, as well as the photographer can be happy with the result. That is my objective when I work.
