Alexia Smith

Hey everyone! My name is Alexia Smith a.k.a Lexi. I am a recent graduate of the Fashion Design Program at IADT Las Vegas. With a bachelor's degree in fashion design, it is my ultimate goal to produce my very own magazine, fusing both fashion and music. I have worked first hand with Roxanne Magazine as a marketing intern. My skills range from Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, to freehand fashion illustrations, pattern drafting, draping, fashion styling, and fashion show production. My overall style targets women ages 18 to 35, however I have worked with childrenswear,menswear, dancewear and fetish attire. I generally work with clean lines and solid colors, placing emphasis on the best features of the person that I am working with. I work both in knits and wovens, designing clothing that is versital and can easily be worn during the day and transformed for a night out. I have extensive expierence working with several fashion conventions such as MAGIC, WSA, and PROJECT, as well as many of the other conventions that come in and out of Las Vegas. Though I consider myself a designer, I have dabbled with modeling and dance (ballet), as I am a student of London Dance Acadmy here in Las Vegas as well. I would love to gain more modeling expierence, as I have done small photoshoots. Because the fashion industry can be somewhat hard to get into, I am looking to find a steady group of cantacts and industry leaders to work colsely with. I believe that the formation of a strong work relationship is the first step to becomming successful with anything that you do.
