I am a professional MUA and I love all aspects of makeup, not just the pretty, or the extreme. Everything from Avante Garde/High Fashion style makeups to dark character makeup, bald caps, hair work, special effects, all the way down to basic corrective makeups; I love it ALL!! ;-). I have been toying with makeup for as long as I can remember but it wasn't until college that I decided to make my passion a career. I recieved a BA in Theatre from Auburn University in 2007. I specialized in costuming, hair, and (of course) makeup. While I was in school I worked on many different projects and I am extremely experienced with stage work. In 2006 I moved to Loch Sheldrake, NY (aka~The complete middle of nowhere), to work for Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center. Here, I taught 4 makeup classes a week and designed the makeup for 17 shows, and assisted on 16 others. Then after the sessions were over, I came home to finish up at Auburn. I dabbled in photography for a little bit right out of college and found another love with it. I love to take pictures, although I would not call myself a professional by any means, so I returned to makeup and found myself working for Benefit Cosmetics. I worked in cosmetics for about a year, before I decided to return to school to enhance the skills I already had. And that is how I wound up in beautiful, sunny Orlando!!!

I then returned to school at Joe Blasco Makeup Center East to further my education in what I truly love. I got my diploma for the Professional Makeup Artistry Course and I now work freelance throughout central and south Florida. I also now work (Mon-Fri) as the wardrobe head at Arabian Nights Dinner Theatre where I am their head Makeup Artist and Wig Designer. I also take care of the costumes and assist with repairs and construction for the show. I am a very busy woman right now, so if you are looking to shoot anytime soon, it is best if you can give me at least a week to 2 weeks notice, so that if the shoot is during the week I can shift around my work schedule, and if it is on a weekend, I may already have another shoot scheduled, so just let me know as early as you do please! :-)

------------Do I accept TFP Shoots-------------------------
*I prefer to work for pay, (let's be honest, who doesn't)
*However, that being said, I am very eager to work with as many people in the Orlando area as possible and it seems like everyone is trying to build up their port's right now, so if it is an interesting project then message me and we can talk!

*(Also, most MUA's will accept TFP's for the right project, however, unlike Modeling it actually does cost us something to work on these projects, b/c we are using up more and more of our product each time and this can be expensive, so if you can help out at all, please be conscious of this fact and help the MUA out by offering a small kit fee if you can. Even $15 can help us replace supplies or pay to replace the eyelashes that the artist is going to be using on you, that you most likely will be keeping. Just be considerate, b/c most of us are trying to make a living too, and our "Art" can get to be very expensive. Thank you!)
