Iâm a part time sculptor and occasional photographer looking for a pregnant model for a sculpture project. Have a look at
http://s889.photobucket.com/albums/ac97/stevefzrebay/ for some examples of finished pieces and works in progress. You can also see some of my photos at http://members.optusnet.com.au/stevefzr/images/
My sculptures are simply for decoration in my garden, so they're a loss making venture. While I can only pay $22 an hour cash for modelling, I can also provide free photos for your portfolio if you;re interested, or even if you just want some nice pregnancy progress shots.
I am located in Lower Plenty, just between Rosanna and Eltham. I usually work in the evenings for a couple of hours, once or twice a week, working around my model's availability. Although life modelling does require clothes off at various stages, I usually work on one part of the figure at a time, so that part's usually all that needs to be unclothed until I move onto the next bit. I start with a session where I get the model to try a few poses until I decide on the one I want. I then take some reference photos. Models can keep some clothes on for these if they prefer. I donât need my models to wear make-up, and hair just needs to be pinned back, however my models are welcome to apply make-up for this initial session if they want copies of the photos. I'll then spend a week making a steel framework to support the clay, based on the photos and model's measurements. After that I start the regular sessions with the model building up the details over a period of weeks.
If you're interested in modelling for me, and aren't scared off by the lousy pay, drop me a line at steve_fzr2@yahoo.co.uk and I'll send you my phone number so we can discuss it in more detail.
