Hi, my name is Steve. I was born with a camera in my hands. Well maybe not exactly, but it seems that way. For most of my life I was more interested in photographing nature. Then I photographed a play that I designed the lights for, and heard that the actors wanted to buy my photographs instead of the the ones taken by the "professional" photographer. I though, "hey, I should try to make a living at this." I took classes at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan to learn the basics, and then I started working with models to practice posing and lighting people.

Since then I have shot models, weddings, boudoir, birthday parties, skate and golf events, corporate events, actor head shots, theater pictures, as well as my old standby, nature shots. I have also done some photography for Heelys (skate shoes) and had a few skate and theater photos published in newspapers and magazines.

At this point I realize I am not interested in becoming a fashion photographer, I am much more interested in creating art. I will shoot fashion or whatever you want (within reason) but if you would like to create something beautiful, or something that makes you think, or something that tells a story, then I am your photographer. Please feel free to contact me. And please feel free to contact any of the models I have worked with. You will see I am very easy going and comfortable to work with.

I will shoot TFCD if it's a concept we both can use for our portfolio.

I do not have a studio though I have access to two in the area, but I can travel to you with portable equipment. The areas that I will typically work is Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, Ulster, and Orange Counties in NY (Pawling, Poughkeepsie, Brewster, Fishkill, White Plains, New Paltz, Newburgh, etc) and Western CT (Danbury, New Milford, Waterbury, Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, etc)
