Jay Lamborn Photography

I've been into photography for years. While in the Marine Corps I served as a photojournalist (and won awards) and kept playing with cameras after I got out. Today I do a mix of photography: family portraits, nature (last year one nature shot was selected for an art show at Edison State College), sports, event, journalistic and have recently begun working with some friends who asked me to photograph them. I enjoyed working with them and want to expand my experience working with models. I'm not a big-budget studio, but I am a guy that likes to experiment in between working the fundamentals. I'm open to ideas and advice and look forward to hearing from you.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about this lately. Some of you are new and photographers are going to want you to pay them to get shots. Some of you have friends who want some shots, but your photographer buddies don't have the time or desire to shoot them for free. I'm interested. I'm not trying to make a living at photography right now. I just want to enjoy this thing I love and share my talent with people who can't afford for someone to shoot them.
