Sophia Castaneda

i am a recently graduated film maker from International Academy of Film and Television. (Graduated Dec 30 2009). i started doing professional freelance makeup in 2007 as a multimedia arts student and for extra money on the side. i did makeup for a few weddings, prom's, beauty contests and fashion events.

i have been painting and training under excellent painters since the age of 10years old and have a great eye for color coordination, textures, and shapes. i have taken a production design elective in film school that has made me interested in participating in set dressing, props making and wardrobe as well.

i have been doing prosthetics and special effects makeup for student films here at bigfoot. all my makeup technique and skill is the product of three years of extensive research and trial and error application. everything i know in that field is all self taught. i am currently working under contract with Bigfoot studio's in cebu philippines as a makeup artist, Art department intern in the hopes of saving enough money to apply in a makeup school and get awarded with bountifully extensive knowledge of not just fashion, but also special effects makeup and gain certification.
