Alan Lowy is a published photographer-author with over 40 years professional experience in the field. Alan was OMP's "Featured photographer" July 2002. Alan was featured on NBC -TV channel 12 (Phoenix, AZ) "Midday show" in March of 2004. Alan continues to teach photography workshops and seminars and is always searching for female models for edgy fashion, lingerie, fashion & fine art figure nude models (ages 18-45) to work with me for our photo-workshops. Alan worked in Chicago shooting Spiegels, Sears, food and catalog photography and also Playboy models for model portfolios, then in Detroit shooting models, producing the Modelrama model-photographers shows, commercial and industrail work and aerial photography for local companies and auto companies. Seeking local Phoenix models: I will teach and TFP models (on a limited basis) to interested models interested in learning to be a "workshop model" (a great opportunity to net-work with photographers who will hire models to pose for their own portfolio. (No experience required. Dependable only need contact me from the Arizona areas. My portfolio rates are on an hourly basis. @$400.00 per hour which includes studio session, or at a slightly higher rate for location shoots. ( 2 hr minimum) Computer -Photoshops rates are at $85.00 per hour additional. I offer over 40 years model portfolio experience. I teach Photographic workshops (weekend one & two day seminars) and some week-long workshops where attending photographers can work together with instructor & model(s) to help build their portfolios. I also teach photographic workshops to photographers of all levels in specialized fields. Alan is a published photographer-author with images that have been published in a number of magazines and has won numerous awards for his work he was also the former founder with C.J. Elfont and Co-Director of MPW workshops in Michigan (Alan now lives here in Phoenix and has his studio in North Phoenix, AZ.) Alan is also a photography instructor for the continuing ed dept. of PVCC Community College here in Phoenix, AZ. and also at the Scottsdale artist school, Scottsdale, AZ.
