Barone Photography

Michael Barone approaches each photograph as a expression of artistic excellence. He believes that the best images come from understanding the subject and the particular needs of each clients. Barone uses his artistic training and the tools of modern photography to create work that meets his exacting artistic standards. Over the past 25 years Barone has photographed the human form in all it's beauty and sensuality, showing a depth of emotion that brings the subject to life.
Barone has been a professional photographer after receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the University of Delaware. He now works from his studio and gallery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Besides fine art photography, Michael specializes in portraits, weddings, corporate and legal images.

Michael Barone's work has appeared in a number of juried shows and exhibits throughout the Northeast and received several awards, including best in show and purchase awards. Most recently, Barone exhibited in one-man shows on South Street and in University City, Philadelphia, he was the featured at Halcyon Gallery in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, and in the Nexus Gallery in Old City, Philadelphia. His body of work "Parental Advisory, Explicit Images" was shown in Buck's County, PA.and the DaVinci Art Alliance in Philadelphia PA. He recently won an award in a juried show in Richlandtown, PA.
Michael was also a part of two exhibitions entitled, "Naked in New Hope" Exhibition which opened September 2007 and also in 2009. Michael's images are part of the galleries collection still on display
Recent exhibitions also include: "Barone, a retrospective" 25 years of Contours and Shadows. Located in the Midlantic Gallery Arts Consortium Gallery and The "Heart of Peace" exhibition at the Greenshire Arts Consortium. And his internationally acclaimed exhibition "Censor This" which showed in August, 2009 at the ArtHouse Lounge in Harrisburg, PA.

JUST ANNOUNCED "Censor This II" a exhibition of new erotic works is scheduled to open August 14, 2010 at the Art House Lounge in Harrisburg, PA

Barone has earned PPA Certified Designation from the Professional Photographers of America. This designation was earned after meeting rigorous requirements measuring his artistic, technical, ethical and business competence. The PPA Certified designation is held by fewer than 2,500 photographers worldwide.
