MY PHOTOSHOP SKILLS: I would rate myself: Experienced to Advanced. Recently I've gone back to basics, I PREFER NOT to spend a lot of time retouching a photo and making a woman look like an anatomically-incorrect, super-perfect, flawless, detail-less, plastic doll, although I CAN do that if you request. I am certainly going agains't the grain by saying I am against heavy-photoshop retouching, but just like people are now choose natural organic foods, there are other people who are disapproving of the false and unattainable sense of beauty that photoshop images create.

I have been using Photoshop since 1994 (started with Photoshop 3.0) and have excellent re-touch ("airbrush") and image correction skills. I can retouch body figures, trim the waist, remove defects: hair covering the face, remove distracting objects from the image (stop signs, cars, etc). It seems photography with overly-retouched images has become a photoshop competition rather than the model, photographer and location/setup. We are all entitled to our own opinion and this is my preference.
