I am a lecturer and daughter of an old samurai family. I view my modelling as another way to promote my heritage and present authentic Japanese culture in an accessible and enjoyable manner. However, I am happy to explore other artistic ideas and have a good sense of humour, so please contact me if you think that we could create beautiful and intelligent art together.

I have a collection of over 100 kimonos and other authentic Japanese items.
Please ask if you would like to collaborate on projects using them in traditional or innovative ways. For kitsuke (kimono dressing), I have another profile as a wardrobe stylist.

I was featured in the August 2006 edition of 'Easy Living', a Condé Nast magazine.

On my website there is a detailed list of my professional activities from April 2001 to July 2009, including modelling for photographers and other artists, roles as a film extra, leading study tours to Japan and many hundreds of lectures, workshops and other cultural/educational presentations.
