The Fashion District Model Open Call
Located in River North, The Fashion District is the center of Chicago fashion and nightlife and is growing greater in recognition and anticipation as we near our first event in a series of designer fashion shows for Spring 2010. The Fashion District presents the opportunity for emerging designers and local boutiques to showcase their latest collections to an untapped clientele. We are currently looking to cast talent for our premiere event set to launch April 7, 2010.
Event Details:
Open Call: Wednesday, March 24 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 5:00-7:PM
Location: District Bar @ 170 West Ontario Street
Event Time: Wednesday, April 7 from 8:00-11:00 PM.
Hair and Makeup call times TBA upon selection
Plan to leave at least a 2-hour block of time during the day for styling.
Pay: $50/TFP (negotiable) Models may choose to receive professional images from photos taken during the event and shoots for portfolio use. Expect to be working with 2-5 photographers that will be present to capture the event, as well as professional studio photographers for the photo shoots held prior to the event. All images will be edited in Photoshop and released to District Bar, ImagineFashions and its publications and may be used for media coverage of the event.
Model Requirements:
Women: 5’8” or taller
Men: 6’2” or taller
We ask that you wear clothes that will make it easy for us to see your body type. Women should bring a pair of heels, as they will not be provided for you at the casting call. It is strongly recommended that you bring your photos with you along with your information.
This is an ongoing event featuring new and inspiring collections from a diverse mix of upcoming designers. Models selected for our first event may continue to work with us for future projects and opportunities.

Please include within the email a brief background of yourself highlighting personal style and/or interests and previous work experience, if any. Photos must be submitted for consideration if you will not be attending one of our open calls. Please send 2-3 recent (non-nudity) photos and/or a link to your portfolio. All levels of experience are welcome.
