I am mostly a self-taught artist. Although I have academic credentials, my experiences are my teachers. I work in acrylic, oil, watercolor, charcoal, pencil, and pastel. My most common works are in charcoal, oil, or acrylic. My art focuses around people. I prefer portraits and nudes, as the images become the organic and visceral components of how I relate to and perceive the human condition.
My experience spans two decades of changes in style, themes, and development of techniques. My growth stems directly from my evolution as an artist and it is integrated and compounded into my recent work.
