Alfred Ng was born in Singapore in 1978. After studying photography at Nanyang Academy of Fine Art in Singapore, he began to work under a commercial studio in Singapore as an in-house photographer. In late 2005, he moved to London to learn photography from the western culture. Working as a digital operator, he was given chance to work with some great fashion and still life photographer in London.

In 2008, he moved back to Singapore and started his own. He is currently concentrating on still life photography, advertising and personal works related to art.

Alfred currently divides his time primarily between Singapore and Beijing, China.
