First and foremost, I'm a web engineer by day. But, I love photography because it keeps my right brain from turning into moosh! After shooting pictures for a long time just for fun, people actually started offering me money to take pictures for them, how cool is that? So, that's how I got started. I've done the whole gamut from fashion, wedding, art, glamor, product, commercial, etc. I've shot commercial work for Ivory Homes, Tsunami Sushi and other small businesses in Salt Lake. However, engineering has taken over my life for the past year and a half and this stupid thing called The Recession happened so I haven't had the chance to shoot as much lately. But, all that's about to change, with your help hopefully! :) I am looking to start exercising my creativity again and hopefully meet some cool new people and make some new friends along the way.
Eventually, I would like to someday create a "Nakahara" style image. If you don't know what that means, maybe you know Neil by his web alias, FrizzyCube:

I love this artsy glamor stuff! It's such eye candy! He is probably THE MOST TALENTED visual artist today and I respect his work a lot. But, honestly, I'm not planning on diving into anything that deep anytime soon. Baby steps :) His work requires MANY HOURS of digital editing on the computer and I just picked up another side contract to build a website (in addition to slaving away for Da Man fulltime). So yea, it sucks having so many interests and only 24hrs in a day. ;/ WTH, we'll sleep when we die, right? hha ;)
Thanks for dropping by and feel free to add me as a friend, let's chat and bounces ideas. I've got a few simpler concepts I'd like to try for now, just for fun. Holla, if you're interested! :)
P.S. We're all really busy people, right? And nothing puts more of a Debbie Downer mood on a photoshoot than people being late and photoshoots are supposed to be fun! So please, if you tend to be flaky...let's not waste each other's time. :)
