Project Notes: This short film is based off a horror/thriller feature length script. The short is our introduction to our villain (Drudge) and the story of Mia and Dave, the first people to encounter him.
Project Synopsis: A new face of horror has been born (Drudge) and Mia and her boyfriend Dave are the first to meet him. Witness the thrilling ride as a couple face the most terrifying moments of their life. Experience their fight for their survival as they find a way to escape their own home.
MIA: Lead / Female / All Ethnicities / 18 - 24 years
Description: She’s kind, thoughtful, and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She's a catch, with the perfect mixture of good looks and a good heart. Most would say her boyfriend's a d*ck, but she works with it. In her own way she sees the good in him that most can't see. She's a lover, not a fighter. But tonight, a fighting side of her that's never come out will be her only chance at survival.
Wardrobe: Mia starts with a comfortable ensemble. Sweat pants, tank top, and house slippers. The second half of the short, Mia is wrapped in a towel as she has just gotten out of a bath.
Suggestive Nudity: In one scene Mia begins to undress before getting in for a bath. Our only view as an audience member is a wide shot from behind her. Shirt off, pants off, then bra off. At the end, Mia is only in her underwear and the audience is teased with a glimpse at side boob.
