Main Street Studios

We are a Tampa Bay area photographic and film studio in Dunedin Florida called Main Street Studios.

We also have a division called main Street Films that does all manner of film and video work with HD cameras and Hollywood style. Christian Cousin is the Director of Cinematography and is amazing in getting the shots that make a film come alive. We are currently shooting the Joel Wynkoop show for local cable. Joel is a local movie actor and veteran ”B” movie star with over 50 films to his credit. He was most recently on the syndicated television show “forensic files”. Joel interviews other local actors and movie professionals in the Tampa Bay area on his show and offers a glimpse into the Tampa Bay movie world . Christian converts one of our studios into a talk show set and through his mastery and the magic of Green/Blue screen use, no one would know he is right here in beautiful downtown Dunedin Florida

We have also been contracted recently for two television commercials for the local military museum and a music video for a new a new original song by Heather Leigh, a fast rising country music star. The song is “With You” and is dedicated to the spouses of deployed American military personnel. Great song, Great voice. I’ll post the link when it goes up.

We offer all photographic, video and multimedia services. We also have two fully equipped photographic studios we rent in one of two ways;

1. We have private, furnished offices (desk, chair, high speed internet, locked secured doors and building alarm) for rent that include studio use and full use of studio related equipment. Electric and water are also included as is the “community kitchen” areas and two restrooms with showers. If you rent an office, you can reserve time in one of the two studios or use the studio anytime it is open, all at no additional charge. If you have ever wanted your own studio where you could run your own photography business without the headaches or costs, this is it. Bring your camera and computer and you are open for business.

2. Both studios are available for rental by photographers any time that the photographers in residence are not using them. Time can be reserved by single hours or multiple hours in advance. The multiple hour advanced purchase packages offer a discount from the per hour rate. (all hours are used in half hour increments)

The north studio is 28'x10' and the south studio is 22'x14'. The south studio has green screen capabilities. A laptop and Pocket Wizards allow us to offer a fully wireless experience if you shoot with Eye-Fi SD type cards or partially wireless if you don't. Any equipment that is camera specific will be for Canon Equipment and our offerings may be expanded to other major brands if the demand is high.

We also offer photographic training by experienced Canon and Nikon shooters. If you are new to photography and want to learn your new camera and how it functions, we offer one on one training to bring you to any level of expertise you desire. We keep a photographic list a list of highly experienced models, makeup artists, hair stylists and other creative’s who have worked in our studio in the past. We have a large, well lit two station vanity area for models, customers or family members to apply or fix makeup and hair.

Want to learn standard or creative processing through Photoshop or how to use Lightroom, we do that too. Restoration of old photographs is another of our services.

Our video department is state of the art and can be hired for direct shooting or for a learning experience. The above information is also available for videographers or those who want to learn the video aspects of their equipment.

If you are not sure just ask. If we don’t feel we have the experience to give full and complete training in a particular area, we will find someone who can and refer your business to them at no charge to you (or them) for the referral. Our goal is to offer or find the photographic information and services, you need to successfully take photography to the level you desire.
