I always struggled with body image issues and low self-esteem. I was a naturally scary-skinny kid who never fit in. I had bad acne like every other teenager. I was no athlete, so I rarely felt comfortable participating in any activity. I was skinny, but I was out of shape, so I hid myself.

Since I became a Beachbody coach, I'm getting in the best shape of my life (not that I didn't look great before). I gained a lot of confidence and I started looking for a way to show off my new look. What better way than professional photography?

With industry standards the way they are, pushing girls to be nothing but skinny there needs to be some stuff out there telling girls they need to be fit instead. You don't have to be a bodybuilder to be in shape, and you don't have to be scary-skinny to be attractive. You don't have to be naked to be sexy, and at the same time, nudity isn't something to be ashamed of.

I guess I'm just a regular girl who wants to show the world I'm more than that. I want my story to be the middle finger to societal standards. I want to be confidently and unashamedly me.
