Eleanor Burns

I am a transgendered model and actress from Cardiff, Wales. When I began my transition at the beginning of 2015, having previously worked as a male model, I thought at first that would be an end of my modelling. However, that was before I met photographer and experimental filmmaker Jason Marsh (AKA Rubbercripple), with whom I have now had several shoots using vintage cameras, aged film, and cine film to create a body of work with far more character and artistry than I have ever had before. We intend to continue with the film shoots to build up an artistic quasi-documentary of my ongoing transition, known at this stage as "Imago". It will also feature material from the blog ("My Belated Existence") which I have begun to keep track of my progress and to express my hopes, reflections, and anxieties.

I would love to connect with interesting photographers and filmographers, and am happy to work on a TFP / TFCD basis.
