Here's what I look for in a model:

Confidence Of all the qualities that come across in a photograph, this is number one. You might be nervous (and that's ok), but confidence will shine past it.
Sense of Adventure & Fun I love it when a models share in the fun. When models are enthusiastic, animated and move around, they are involved in the process. Making it personal to them. Those models who can participate in the process, are the best.
Grace & Energy While modeling, move around, show me different angles, take the concept and run with it, express yourself showing me something new.
Creativity If you have specific ideas or styles that you'd like to try to create with me, let me know. New ideas are often challenging and a lot of fun. Anything is fair game.
Reliability I understand that stuff happens, including last minute cancellations, but please let me know what's going on, and never stand me up. There is a lot of time and expense in a photo shoot and it's usually followed by a tight schedule. If you are a no call, no show. I won't consider working with you again.
Attitude Positive, up beat, and and a willingness to please. This above all other will keep you coming back for more. Also, stay within your comfort zone or break it, but challenge yourself to try something new.


All I ask is that if you schedule a session, please, please show up. I feel confident that the models that I am working with possess a high level of professionalism. Show up on time and ready to work.
