I am seeking a variety of female models to shoot test photographs similar in concept and style to http://dalelotts.tumblr.com/post/16163333093/edith-j and http://dalelotts.tumblr.com/post/16194189385/allison
This images from this shoot will be used post a book concept on http://www.kickstarter.com for funding. I am collaborating with another photographer in the US that will be doing test shoots during the same time period. A combination of the test images will used to raise funding that will allow us to further develop the concept and publish the book. We are both very excited about this prject and we think that you will be also.
Their are very few physical requirements for the models - we would like a variety of age, height, hair length, and body types as this project will celebrate the diversity and natural beauty of the female form.
You will be required to do your own hair which, in most cases, will be up in a bun or similar style. Makeup and wardrobe are not requred.
Shoots will be conducted daily between 3:00 and 6:00 pm in the Jing An District of Shanghai. You will be asked to commit to three hours of shooting. If you agree to it, the shoot will also be video taped for possible inclusion in the kickstarter funding video.
All test shoots must be completed by May 3rd, 2012. The project will be posted to kickstarter sometime in May.
This first round of test shoots will be TF*. You will receive between 1 and 3 retouched images from your shoot. You can also expect to be called for a paid shoot when the project is funded.
Please respond to this casting call only via private message and include your name, contact information, the best time to reach you, your availability for the shoot, and whether or not you are comfortable shooting with another model (some concepts require multiple models). Responses without this information, public responses or responses of “Interested” will be ignored.
