Concept:
The overall concept is to illustrate how people lose touch with their partners. I want to portray a couple as the man drives a wedge through their relationship by way of filters of communication and attention. The end shot is of the wedge finally separating the couple and driving the woman into another man's arms.
Details:
This will be a series of shots in two locations. The first will be a friend’s house in Hinesville with elegant looking furnishings. The second will be a night club location shoot in Savannah. The skill set needed by the model will place more emphasis on the ability to portray emotions than posing. I will need to work out a time with the model as I will need to rent a lenses for this series.
The script for the series is:
1, The woman is preparing a candlelit dinner in the kitchen.
2, The woman is setting the table.
3, The woman is getting ready in the bathroom putting effort in to make herself pretty for her man.
4, This shot will have the woman standing behind her man waiting for his attention. She doesn't get it and instead he continues to play his video games.
5, This shot will show her man gesturing that he doesn't have the intention of giving her attention as he's playing his game and the woman displaying anger that she and her efforts have been ignored.
6, The last house shot will have the woman sitting at the candle lit table by herself crying, with her man in the background continuing to play games oblivious to her.
7, The location shoot will be a dance club in Savannah. There will be a close-up shot of the woman dancing with a man and her makeup smeared by her tears.
