I am offing a trade to anyone who puts together a beautiful or interesting still life for me to photograph.
What I want: objects that are lovely or odd, interesting or antique. For example: fresh flowers or artificial, (as long as they look natural) in a bowl or vase, the whole set must be tasteful and well thought out. lace table cloth or something with color and texture. Example two: branches or twigs or seed pods in a vase or bowl, Shells, stones, bones, or other nature objects with other interesting objects on a table. I am open to all types and styles, as long as it is interesting and beautiful. Example three: Antique china cup with tea pot and steaming tea with fruit on a table. Use your imagination.
I want to do a still life series and have run out of things to photograph at home, so rather than buying new things Which I won't use after, I offer a trade to anyone who can create something beautiful for me to photograph.
You must live in the Vancouver area, or be willing to come to my place with all your objects and items.
I prefer to use natural light, so a big window or well lit room, patio or garden area is the best place to set up your still life, I don't have a lighting set up for indoor shooting, so we need daylight. I can bring one fill light.
You will get: one portrait of yourself or if you're a stylist, then a photograph of a model you style. If a model is used then I will give the model the edited image as well.
If you are a model and you wish to use stylists for your portrait, the stylists will also get the images.
I may choose to do more edits of the model, and if I do, you will get printable copies of what I edit.
But the official trade is for one portrait in my style. A $100 value.
Or you can get the finished edit of the stll life.
This will be an on-going offer until I take down the casting, I will book dates for this trade throughout the summer months.
