Casting Call on Saturday, April 2 ---from 12pm to 4pm----@ The Dougherty Art Center
Located at 1110 Barton Springs Road, Austin TX, 78704
Looking for 5 Actors/Models needed for 2 pool commercials.
All roles will be paid (Travel expenses included). Food will be provided on set and actors will be provided with footage for film reel.
Filming Dates: April 16, April 17
Filming Location: Del Rio Texas
Compensation: Pay + Travel, will provide Meals, Credit, and a Copy of the final commercial.
What to Bring: Headshot and resume, come prepared to read sides. Script will be provided at location.
“Mystery Girl” Commercial 1
Mystery Girl is a story about two young boys, Jake and Adrian, who can’t wait for the pool installer to be finished so they can jump and enjoy the pool, so finally when the pool installer knocks on the door to let them know that the pool is ready they make their way toward the pool area only to find a beautiful girl getting out of the pool, the mystery girl walks towards them and talks to the boys.
“Days go by” Commercial 2
Days go by is a story about a family going through the process of getting a pool the hard way. The family is made up of David(The father),Rose(The mother) and Daniel (8 year old son). This is story about the indecisive father who day after day is asked by Daniel if he can please have a pool, the father waits and waits until one day he finally gets a pool but is very different from what the family wanted and pays the consequences.
Character Breakdowns:
Pool Girl
• Looking for an actress or model 18-35, preferably Caucasian, think of Brooklyn Decker in the movie Just Go With it, where she is getting out of a pool, that’s the kind of shot we are going to be doing; slow motion beauty shot.
• Have to look great in a swimsuit.
• Will have only one line of dialogue in the whole commercial.
Young Boys (Jake & Adrian)
• Casting for these two positions is for two boys that are 17-25; have to look like you are a senior in high-school, any ethnicity.
• Going for a nerdy/geeky/ gamer look.
Mom and Dad (David & Sarah)
• Casting for these two positions is for an actor and actress 25-40, Hispanic looking.
• The Dad, should look like he has a 8 year old child, have to be entertaining/funny.
• Mom should be attractive looking and like she has an 8 year old child.
