Hello models!
The Round Peg is a photographic venture recently founded. We are in the process of building a strong portfolio and we have a strong team working to produce stunning images that will leave a mark. We team up with great makeup artists and stylists, producing and directing every session with professionalism, nevertheless we believe in creating a great environment to work in: the time we spent planning and shooting is relaxed, with music and without shouting. We believe in working in group, not in being great individuals.
The session
The session will be on THURSDAY 8TH OCTOBER, from 18:00 to 23:00. We will use a studio in Brent Cross (North London). Please check your availability for this date/time!
This time we are going to create some very edgy images, and we are looking for models ready to play some peculiar role. We want to change the rule of the game. In a session where you will work with another model, she will wear a suit and will be very aggressive, very masculine, while he will have to wear something more "feminine". This will play on the provocation, on the contrast of the roles, but please remember that we will never produce obscene or offensive photos. Amongst our keywords we have "Fashion" and "Style" and, of course, "break the rules of the game".
Unfortunately our Stylist will not be able to make it on the night, so we will have to rely on your wardrobe and some of ours to prepare the shot! The clothes will NOT be provided for this shot.
We will use a great makeup artist this time, and she will work hard on you to create a style similar to the one Rihanna wore in the shots for Vogue Italy. The photos will be prevalently in black and white, with some colour ones to try and balance the outcome for you, but we expect to create some very striking images. This casting call is not for the faint hearted!
The process
Please read this casting call very carefully and apply if you will be available on the selected date. Amongst everyone who will apply to the casting call, we will shortlist the candidates we will feel stronger for the role. We value every model not only for how she/he appears, but for her/his personality, experience, passions and interest. When applying write us something about you and we will read it carefully!
The shortlisted models will be contacted via email, so please send your details to us. They will be asked to confirm their availability for the date/time. Please note that confirming is very important for us, as if you are selected we will count on you; in fact everyone those who will be selected will be contacted to discuss all the details. They will not be "just our models", they will be part of the team. We cannot stress this part more: we are professionals and we want to work with people with the same attitude. We are reliable and will always be on time, but we expect the same reliability from every member of the team.
The Payment
This session is TFCD and we will ask you to sign a model release form. Like every other model release form, our states that we own the copyright of the photo and that you will receive, in exchange of your work, a set of photos for personal use.
The Images
The day after the session we will upload the unedited images on one of our servers and we will ask you to pick the photo that you think are the best. Those you will select and those we think are the best will be completely edited by us. You will receive, in two weeks time, the high-resolution edited images.
