About Me
I am a fine artist, specializing in pencil and pen and ink illustrations. I earned my art degree in the University of California system. I also have credentials in graphic design.
My favorite subjects are portraiture, figure studies and city scapes. I feel that I have learned as much as I can about drawing with pencil and ink. I am now experimenting with digital photography. I try to capture 'everyday' scenes; the bustle of the city is an inspiration.
I often gravitate to the works of French impressionists such as Manet, Renoir, and Cassatt, Avant Garde photography Man Ray, and surrealist Salvador Dali.
