About Me
I am the staff photographer for Live Model Books, a publisher of reference photos for figurative artists.
My goal is to capture what the model actually looked like in the studio at the moment the picture was taken with very little interpretation—no glitz or glamor, no wardrobe, very little makeup and simple lighting. In addition, every pose is photographed in rotation so the photos can be used for sculpture or 2D art. Therefore, my "style" is a sort of lack of style. It is definitely for models who are comfortable and confident with themselves.
Ultimately, the pose and how the model's body forms the pose, is the central focus of my work.
