About Me
He was born in Istanbul in 1979. After he graduated from Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Faculty of Bilkent University, he went to Los Angeles, U.S.A. in 2001 and attended the world-renowned American Film Institute, where he completed his master’s degree on Production Design. He returned to Turkey in 2005 and since then he has been directing numerous commercials, music videos and short films.
Kurtcebe, whose grandfather was a painter, and father, a caricaturist, has been brought up in a visually rich environment and he is famous for his attention to details and creating unique visuals styles for his film and TV commercial projects.
Kurtcebe worked as a director at several big production companies both in Turkey and abroad, and as an experienced film director, established Disiplin Media Film Productions Ltd. Kurtcebe continues to work as one of the most successful commercial directors in Turkey.
