About Me

With more than two decades experience as a professional photographer, videographer, author, director, producer and screenwriter, Atlanta-based Tad Boomer is a virtuoso in capturing—Dudoir (male boudoir)—the sensuality of the male form. With a portfolio that encompasses sports gear, underwear, swimwear, implied & semi-nudes and adult nudes, Tad also shoots lifestyle, fine art, portraiture, athletics, event photography, commercial and lifestyle.

As Founder & CEO of Tad Boomer Photography, his array of well-known prints, books and DVDs have been showcased in countless national and international magazines throughout the U.S., Europe and Australia, as well as greeting cards, e-cards, calendars, news publications, websites, and as content for stock photo houses. Tad also works as an adult entertainer videographer, screenplay writer, director, and producer of three adult videos, to date.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia & Web Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta, with additional studies at New York Institute of Photography. He also has a Bachelor’s in Computer & Information Systems Security and Information Assurance from Nova Southeastern University, with further academic credentials in Computer Science at Broward College, and Radio Broadcasting at the Columbia School of Broadcasting.

Tad served in the United States Air Force from 1974 through 1979. Away from the lens, he enjoys travel, flying, boating, scuba, hiking, fishing, snorkeling, biking and computers. He is a supporter of animal welfare, civil rights & social action, the environment and human rights; and an active member of the Professional Photographers Association of America.

With an eye on bringing artistry to his male photography, Tad’s professional mantra is “Shoot what you feel, not what you see.”
