About Me
My Name is John and I have been a photographer for 25+ years, and I absolutely love it. I was a photographer while serving in the US Army for 20+ years and while contracting in Iraq and Afghanistan but have also done alternative, journalistic, street photography, weddings, landscapes, wildlife, pets, advertising, portrait, fine art, nude, fashion, glamour, maternity, erotic, and model/actress portfolio photography. I Love working with models, but at the same time hope to preserve the voyeuristic quality of street photography. I have also worked local TV, (KSWO) here in Lawton as a News and Sports photographer. I am always looking for new models and clients for various types of shoots from fantasy, alternative, Goth, dark art, erotic, and anything in-between! I love tattoos...if you have them...I would love to photograph them!
My rates are reasonable and will on occasion do TFP/TFCD, when I feel it will benefit my portfolio, as well as the models. I also shoot free portfolio for serious aspiring models wanting to break into the modeling profession. I frequently travel to Dubai, Iraq and Afghanistan and hope to do more work in Asia and Europe.
Whenever I do a TF shoot, the model is responsible for wardrobe and make-up unless it is a test shoot for a specific assignment, then I might spring for a trip to the hairdresser or beauty salon. Also, the model will need to bring a blank disk or thumb drive to store your photos.
Things you should know about me as a photographer.
1) I will not expect you to do something you're not comfortable doing.
2) I am easy to talk to and interested in your opinion and ideas.
3) I don't mind if you bring friends to the shoot as long as they do not interfere or become a distraction.
4) I have a good attitude and expect you to have one also.
5) I am doing this because this is what I love doing, I help you gain experience as a model and acquire a professional portfolio.
6) I give you copies of all the photos we take to build your portfolio, I will give you a CD with the edited images and a copyright release so that you can print images for your portfolio as well, I will require a Model Release from you allowing me the same courtesy.
